GYPSY MOTH CONTROL/VIRUS

I can remember many years ago when we lived in Connecticut, there was a huge Gypsy Moth outbreak. It was awful. It rained Gypsy moth caterpillars! We put sticky collars on the trees to capture them. The marks from the sticky collars remained for MANY years afterwards. Gypsy Moths were the scourge of the season that year.
This morning I read about a virus that is now being used VERY EFFECTIVELY against Gypsy Moths. Here is the link. I think you will find it to be a very interesting article!
