DON'T CARRY FIREWOOD LONG DISTANCES!

I just read a bulletin about hauling firewood. It shouldn't be done for any long distances. The reason is that it carries insects that could be very detrimental to the forests where it ends up!! That makes a whole lot of sense. I don't know why we hadn't really thought of that before now. Many hunters, and winter campers haul firewood because it's easier than getting it at their destination.
