WILDFLOWERS IN THE I-91 MEDIAN

The other day we drove about an hour or two on I-91. What I noticed was that instead of cutting the grass on the median from one side of the road to the other, they just cut one or two swaths of the mowing machine on each side. That means that fewer hours were spent cutting grass, and less gas was consumed! But what was really nice about this was that where the grass was NOT cut, the wildflowers grew in happy profusion. The median is LOVELY! There's a good example of how more can be less, or vice versa!
